9am Swansea Pool for approx 1hour then to Swansea Belmont SLSC Training Room
PREREQUISITES
·A candidate must be a minimum of 16 years old on the date of final assessment.
·PUAEME001B - Provide Emergency Care, OR
·A current SLSA Bronze Medallion/Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue), OR
·A current Senior First Aid Certificate (CPR component must have been updated in the last 12 months)
Silver Medallion Basic Beach Management
Monday 1st March & Tuesday 2nd March 6pm at Redhead SLSC
PREREQUISITES
·Minimum 17 years of age
·Bronze Medallion/Cert II (not proficient is ok)
AND be proficient in one of the following:
· Surf Rescue Certificate OR
· Bronze Medallion OR
· Radio Operator Certificate OR
· Basic Emergency Care OR
· Resuscitation Certificate OR
· Silver Medallion Radio Controller OR
· Advanced Resuscitation Certificate OR
· Senior First Aid OR
· Defibrillation Certificate OR
· Spinal Management
Advanced resuscitation Techniques (ART)
Commencing Monday 8 March 6pm over 4 consecutive weeks at Redhead SLSC
PREREQUISITES
·Must be 15 years of age on the date of final assessment
·PUAEME001B – Provide emergency care
Please note Advanced Resuscitation Techniques is a new award with ARC plus Defib combined including suction, therefore replacing what was two awards for the one.
If you have ARC and want to do Defib this will be covered on the first night of ART on Monday 8 March 6pm, you will only need to attend this one session and then return for the assessment on the 29th March. Your ARC will then be upgraded to ART. Your current ARC and or Defib are still valid without the upgrade and you still do you annual proficiency as before.
